Harkness is an emerging fine jewellery brand founded by the Harkness sisters, Phoebe (Melbourne) and Georgina (New York).
In their quest for a platform that would reflect the uniqueness of their creations, they turned to Malone.Co. Their goal was not just any website but an extraordinary eCommerce experience that would bring the story of their journey and the beauty of their pieces to life in a way that no other brand had seen before.

OUR APPROACH
Upon our arrival, we were greeted with an array of exquisitely crafted jewellery, each piece accompanied by flawlessly executed photography and video. Phoebe and Georgie had a clear vision for their brand, and it was our mission to respect and elevate the aesthetic they cherished, as well as to honour the contributions of the creatives who had laid the groundwork before us. Our goal was to seamlessly integrate our efforts, ensuring that every element of our collaboration highlighted the exceptional quality and unique spirit of their work.

THE OUTCOME
In crafting the website, we envisioned it not as a mere storefront but as a gallery, transforming it into a realm where visitors could effortlessly explore the artistry embodied in the jewellery. Embracing minimalism, we recognized the challenge it presented: in a space where every detail is magnified, achieving simplicity without losing depth required meticulous attention. Our aim was to transcend the conventional push towards transaction, inviting users to immerse themselves in the beauty of each piece. We sought to create an environment where the decision to purchase springs from an emotional connection with the jewellery itself. The result was a website of understated elegance, a minimalist, gallery-like space that elevates the experience of discovering art in jewellery, making each visit feel like an exclusive artwork unveiling.
